About me


Chocolatte is a Canadian illustrator, voice actress, and vocalist. She has 5 years of experience doing digital art, and 4 years of illustrating professionally. She has participated in a Doki Doki Literature Fanzine, a Fate/Grand Order idol fanzine, as well as a Fire Emblem Three Houses fanzine. As of this year, Choco has also begun learning Live2D work, an industry she believes will only grow. She's an incredibly dedicated and hard-working person, having performed in and participated in the production of four professional musical theater productions during her time in high school.Choco has also trained in piano and violin for over 10 years, reaching a RCM level of 8 on piano, and performed in an award-winning orchestra as a violinist. She has also performed alongside an award winning choir. She is currently in university studying for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

I.General

  • Please be clear and respectful.

  • Provide neat references OR a detailed description of the character if I am designing one.

  • Follow any rules detailed in my commissions info.

II.Payment

  • All commissions below $150 must be paid in full upfront.

  • Payment plans are available for commissions above $150.

  • Currency accepted is USD only

  • For international buyers, I accept payments via Stripe, Transferwise, or PayPal. For residents of Canada, cash may be mailed, but only if the above are not available.

  • Should payments be made in installments (ie. 50% upfront), the final work will only be sent to the commissioner after the remainder has been paid.

III.Process

  • Works in progress will only be given after the initial sketch for illustrations, and if the client asks for it personally.

  • Progress reports may also be given should the artist choose to for any reason.

  • The commission may take up to 6 months to complete, due to various factors including, but not limited to:

  • Health, school, work, complexity of drawing, family issues

  • Deadlines are allowed only if the deadline is a minimum of 1 month away.

  • The artist may deliver commissions out of chronological order, due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Artist’s skill, subject matter, deadline, and availability

  • The artist will not take on a commission if the client is not flexible with the deadline.

  • Any delays will be relayed to the commissioner, and the artist is not obligated to explain any reasonings.

IV.Customer satisfaction

  • The artist will honour any requests to the best of her ability.

  • Only minor changes are permitted after a commission is completed, such as colouring mistakes in illustration.

  • Significant changes that need to be redrawn require an extra fee. (ex. Different outfit, background, or hairstyle)

V.Copyright/Usage Policy

  • By commissioning the artist, the client purchases only the artist’s labour. Copyright to the illustration is not transferred to the commissioner.

  • The artist retains all rights to the image, including, but not limited to:

  • Distribution, reproduction, and self-promotion

  • The client may use the artwork for personal use only, unless the commercial use fee has been paid.

  • The commissioner may not alter the art, claim the artwork as their own, or resell it. If the commercial use fee has not been paid, the artwork may not be used for for-profit reasons.

  • The client does not have authorization to mint or sell the artwork for NFT.

VI.Cancel/Refund Policy

  • I have the right to cancel and refund your commission at any time.

  • Refunds are only allowed if the commission has yet to be paid for.

  • If the client ever files a chargeback, all their rights toward the artwork will be forfeit, and the artist will have the right to reject all future commissions, as well as all the money earned.

Should any of the above terms be violated, I have a right to cancel your commission.

Terms of service

live2d art + rigging


I.General

  • Please be clear and respectful.

  • For model creation, characters MUST have a reference sheet.

  • For rigging, please describe the character's mannerisms. This will translate into the rigging.

II.Payment

  • Payment plans are available for all Live2D modelling and rigging commissions.

  • Additional fees may apply depending on complexity of work, number of expressions, or alternate versions of the model.

  • Currency accepted is USD only

  • For international buyers, I accept payments via Stripe, Transferwise, or PayPal. For residents of Canada, cash may be mailed, but only if the above options are not available.

  • Should payments be made in installments, (ie. 50% upfront), the final work will only be sent to the commissioner after the remainder has been paid.

  • The artist may distribute content regarding the creation of the commission unless the commissioner explicitly asks otherwise.

  • Unless otherwise discussed, the commission may take up to 6 months to complete, due to various factors including, but not limited to:

  • Health, school, work, complexity of work.

  • Deadlines must be a minimum of 1 month away.

  • The artist may deliver commissions out of chronological order, due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Artist’s skill, subject matter, deadlines, and availability

  • Any delays will be relayed to the commissioner, and the artist is not obligated to explain any reasonings.

IV.Customer satisfaction

  • The artist will honour any requests to the best of her ability.

  • Only minor changes are permitted after a commission is completed, such as shape distortions in rigging or missing parts in illustration.

  • Significant changes such as designing/rigging a new outfit require an extra fee. (Includes: Added expressions, different outfits, different hairstyle, new expressions)

V.Copyright/Usage Policy

  • By commissioning the artist, the client purchases only the artist’s labour. Copyright to the illustration is not transferred to the commissioner.

  • The artist retains all rights to the image, including, but not limited to:

  • Distribution, reproduction, and self-promotion

  • All pricing for Live2d work includes a commercial use fee. This fee cannot be waived.

  • The commissioner may not alter the art, claim the artwork as their own, or resell it.

  • Should a re-rig be necessary, the artist must be notified.

  • The client does not have authorization to mint or sell the model/rig for NFT.

VI.Cancel/Refund Policy

  • I have the right to cancel and refund your commission at any time.

  • Refunds are only allowed if the commission has yet to be paid for.

  • If the client ever files a chargeback, all their rights toward the work will be forfeit, and the artist will have the right to reject all future commissions, as well as all the money earned.
